Senate hearing focuses on IT interoperability
The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions met on May 7 to hear testimony from two leaders from the Department of Health and Human Services: Ron Rucker, MD, national coordinator for health information technology at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, and Kate Goodrich, MD, director and chief medical officer at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
