Webinar outlines gun violence interventions

Public health approaches for hospitals and health systems to address gun violence in communities of color will take center stage at an Aug. 19, 2:00 p.m. ET webinar hosted by the American Hospital Association as part of its Hospitals Against Violence initiative. Speakers from the Health Alliance for Violence Intervention and Boston Medical Center will share examples of hospital-based violence intervention programs and expand on the health system’s role in preventing violence and advancing racial equity.
