Webinar highlights teamwork to improve obstetric care

The American Hospital Association’s Value Initiative will host a team training webinar on Oct. 14 at 12 p.m. CT highlighting the importance of teamwork when detecting and coordinating critical obstetric emergencies. The training will cover the various team-based approaches driving value in obstetric care, ultimately improving decision making and patient outcomes. Elissa Concini, MSN, RNC-OB, and Rachel Cunniffe, MSN, RNC-OB, from Geisinger Health in Danville, Pa. and Diana Conterars, MD, from Atlantic Health System in Morris Plains, N.J. will share their experiences building a culture of collaborative care and providing better team-based care during labor and delivery.
