Webinar explains how to engage patients, families as safety champions

The American Hospital Association (AHA) will host a webinar on Dec. 9 at 1 p.m. ET to help established team leaders across the care continuum use evidence-based teamwork tools to engage patients and family member as champions of safety. AONL member Sue Collier, MSN, RN, chief engagement officer at Patient Centered Innovation, Inc., will provide practical examples of how leaders and organizations can elevate patient and family engagement practices in daily operations. Interested participants will have the opportunity to complete a brief self-assessment to provide insights into current practices and for improvement.
