Nurses called to address social determinants of health

To address the social determinants of health, nurses need to first reflect, then take action to create transformative change and finally inspire others to join their efforts. This framework resulted from a year-long effort by members of the American Academy of Nursing, who want to move the profession to action on population health concerns, including systemic and structural racism.
