NOBC publishes practical guide to nurse board service

Leaders at the Nurses on Boards Coalition (NOBC) published a guide in Nursing Economics with practical tips for nurses who want to serve on boards. Advice include how to find the right board to serve on; how to maintain financial and legal fitness; and how to develop a voice that allows nurses to share their unique professional perspective and competencies. The authors noted, “Filling a board seat for an organization whose mission matches your passion is a great place to start.”
