NCSBN releases Nurse Licensure Compact report

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) last week released its Biennial Report on the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). The NLC allows registered and licensed practical/vocational nurses to have one multistate license permitting them to practice in person or via telehealth in their home state and other NLC states. The report includes a summary of strategic planning initiatives, an update on NLC legislation and a description of NLC resources. Currently, thirty-two states have implemented the compact.
