NCC commends Congress for Year of the Nurse resolutions

The Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) commends Congress for introducing S.R. 500 and H.R. 859. “These bipartisan resolutions support the goals and ideals of the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife and recognize the indispensable care nurses provide to keep Americans healthy,” the coalition said in a statement. The NCC expressed a willingness to work with Congress to tackle the pressing policy issues of the day during this historic year for nursing.
