NAM posts clinician burnout resources
Last month, the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) held the sixth in a series of meetings hosted by the NAM Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience. Materials from that meeting are now online at the event’s landing page. Resources include video recordings, speaker presentations and other materials from the collaborative’s consensus report Taking Action against Clinician Burnout: A Systems Approach to Professional Well-Being. NAM will publish a written summary of the meeting takeaways later this year. On Jan. 16 at 2 p.m. ET, NAM will host the next webinar in the series, highlighting initiatives at The Virginia Mason Kirkland (Wash.) Medical Center.
