Joint Commission releases short videos on quality measures

A series of on-demand, 1- to 2-minute videos, covering topics related to electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) are now available on the Joint Commission website. The videos offer a succinct and engaging introduction to complex topics such as clinical quality language and measurement basics such as value sets, datatypes and attributes. The short format is intended to provide “flexibility and convenience for those who may need a quick refresher or [want to] orient new team members with eCQMs.” Users must register to access the videos. The Joint Commission also plans to launch an on-demand CE webinar series in early 2021. (Joint Commission Online article, 1/13/21)
