Health Equity Action Forum to focus on diversifying the nursing workforce

The Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action and AARP’s Multicultural Leadership team will convene a series of virtual Health Equity Action Forums with a goal of advancing health equity through nursing. The first forum, Diversifying the Nursing Workforce to Achieve Health Equity, will take place Jan. 12 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET. Robyn Begley, AONL CEO and chief nursing officer and senior vice president workforce of the American Hospital Association, will take part along with other nursing leaders. Representatives David Joyce, R-Ohio, and Lauren Underwood, D-Ill., will also speak. Registration is available online and the forum will be archived for later viewing.
