Fuchs to Speak on Strengthening the Nursing Workforce Through Advocacy

AONL President Mary Ann Fuchs, DNP, RN, will speak in a National Institute for Health Care Management Foundation webinar on ways to strengthen the nursing workforce amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Fuchs will be joined by Lorina Marshall-Blake, MGA, president of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation and Diana Mason, PhD, RN, senior policy service professor at George Washington University School of Nursing. The speakers will cover issues such as staff shortages and burnout, how to elevate the trusted voices of nurses to address vaccine hesitancy and efforts to build a pipeline to diversify the next generation of nurses.
