Elsevier makes research and clinical resources available
Publisher Elsevier has created an online Novel Coronavirus Information Center to enable clinicians, public health authorities and researchers to access content to help them manage COVID-19. Roughly 20,000 articles from scientific and medical journals and textbooks are being made available free of charge. Elsevier, publisher of AONL’s journal Nurse Leader, has enabled full text and data mining of this body of knowledge through channels such as the National Institutes of Health’s PubMed Central. The website homepage also contains links to useful information such as ECRI’s clinical evidence assessment on the reuse of N95 respirators; and a checklist for nurses on isolation precautions and personal protective equipment. Additional resources related to diagnosis, treatment and wellness are available through the Elsevier COVID-19 toolkit.
