CDC issues COVID-19 advisories for health care providers
Recent advisories from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) cover a wide range of COVID-19 topics, including testing health care personnel, mitigating staffing shortages and return-to-work criteria. Health care providers also will find updated guidelines for collecting, handling and testing clinical specimens; for determining when it is safe to discharge patients with COVID-19; and for storing, handling and administering vaccines when vaccinating home-bound individuals.
