AONL-backed nominee invited to serve on NIOSH board
Kimberly Olszewski, DNP, CRNP, was selected to serve on the Board of Scientific Counselors within the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention beginning in January 2021. The 15-member board advises the director of NIOSH on the institute’s research and prevention programs. A consortium of seven nursing organizations including AONL nominated Olszewski, a certified occupational health nurse specialist and case manager who has provided care in industrial settings for nearly 30 years. She has completed extensive research on this topic.
