AONL, partners launch fellowship for senior nurse executives

AONL announced it is partnering with other associations to launch the Coldiron Senior Nurse Executive Fellowship Program. The five-part program is designed to help nurse leaders improve the quality of health care while also making it more efficient, effective, accessible and patient-centered. The program will begin in August 2020 and will continue for a 15-month period in various locations. Nurse executives with at least five years’ experience at the most senior level in public health and other professional, governmental and policy organizations are invited to apply. The fellowship was developed by the Marian K. Shaughnessy Nurse Leadership Academy of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University (CRWU), Cleveland, in partnership with AONL, the American Nurses Association and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
