AHA offers training on human trafficking

The American Hospital Association partnered with the SOAR for Organizations and the Department of Health and Human Services' National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center to offer free in-person training on human trafficking March 4–5 in Nashville, Tenn. The training was designed to help health care teams identify and respond to individuals who have experienced trafficking and to understand the root causes that make individuals and communities vulnerable to trafficking. Health care leaders can apply through Feb. 7 for a team from their organization to participate.
