Zimmermann Chosen as AONL President-elect
AONL has elected as its 2022 president-elect Deborah Zimmermann, DNP, RN, chief clinical officer and principal for Leaders in Care, Richmond, Va., As president-elect, Zimmermann will become AONL president in 2024. AONL also elected Simmy King, DNP, RN, chief nursing informatics and education officer at Children’s National Health System in Washington, D.C., to a three-year term as treasurer. In addition, five members were elected to each serve a two-year or three-year term on its board of directors: Patricia Noga, PhD, RN, vice president of clinical affairs for the Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association, Burlington; Claire Zangerle, DNP, RN, chief nurse executive at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh; Brandy Matthews, DNP, RN, chief nursing officer for UK HealthCare in Lexington, Ky.; Shannon Fucik, MBA, RN, senior nursing director for emergency services, trauma, critical care transport and patient logistics at Children's Mercy Kansas City (Mo.); and Charles Larsen, MSN-L, RN, clinical operations regional lead for Central Logic in Phoenix.
