Webinar to explore strong professional identity in nursing

AONL and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing will co-host a free webinar on cultivating a strong professional identity in nursing on Jan. 30 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET. Research shows nurses with a strong professional identity have a greater impact on realizing positive patient outcomes. Speakers from Marietta, Ga.-based Wellstar Health System and two universities will share the language of professional identity in nursing, including examples of the four domains: values and ethics, knowledge, nurse as leader and comportment. They also will share models for strengthening professional identity in nursing education and practice settings. Participants must register in advance.
