Webinar to explore how nurses can promote health equity

AONL member Deborah Stamps, EdD, RN, will facilitate a webinar exploring how nurses are promoting health equity on June 17 from 3:00-4:30 ET. Stamps, who serves as the chief equity through nursing advisor to AARP Public Policy Institute, will facilitate a discussion with nurse leaders who were awarded grants through the Health Equity and Nursing Innovations Fund. The Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation awarded the grants. Presenters include leaders from the Nurses on Boards Coalition, of which AONL is a member. Participants can join the meeting without registering in advance. (Campaign for Action article, 6/7/24)
