Webinar launches HHS’ patient safety alliance

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality will hold on April 25 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. ET the first in a series of webinars about the National Action Alliance to Advance Patient Safety. AHRQ Director Robert Otto Valdez will provide an overview of Safer Together: A National Action Plan to Advance Patient Safety. He also will give an update on responses to AHRQ’s request for information on creating the National Action Alliance and allow participants to share their insights. Participants must register in advance. The National Action Alliance is a public-private effort to improve patient and workforce safety across health care delivery settings.
