Webinar explores nurse pathways for federal appointment

While the nation would benefit from nurses’ insights into federal health policy, nurses are underrepresented on federal councils. To help remedy this oversight, 30 nursing organizations, including AONL, formed a consortium to nominate nurses to federal appointments. On May 24 at 2 p.m. ET, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing will host a free webinar to inform nurses about why they should consider applying to serve on federal councils and committees. Participants should register in advance.
