Webinar: Reducing maternal care complications through health equity

Each year, 50,000 women suffer a severe maternal complication during hospitalization while 700 die from it. Addressing the root causes of these complications can reduce maternal mortality and morbidity. The American Hospital Association and the Advancement League will host a webinar outlining ways to improve health care for mothers Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. CT. Speakers will discuss the root causes of maternal mortality and morbidity, and necessary strategies for eliminating disparities. Registration is available online.
