Podcast explores how government hotline offers help to new moms

An American Hospital Association podcast features Michael Warren, MD, associate administrator of the Maternal and Child Health Bureau at the Health Resources and Services Administration. He discusses the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline, launched in May 2022. The hotline offers support and resources via call or text to expecting and new mothers. HRSA offers a Partner Toolkit for health care organizations to raise awareness of the many emotions pregnant and postpartum individuals experience. The AHA also offers a maternal mental health webpage containing additional resources.
