Nurses wanted to serve on federal panels
AONL and other members of the Ad Hoc Nomination Consortium seek qualified nurses to serve on six federal policy committees. The National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, the Advisory Council on Healthcare Research and Quality, the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute Advisory Panel(s), the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines and the Advisory Committee on Organ Transplantation are accepting nominations. Interested individuals can fill out a nomination form. The Ad Hoc Nomination Consortium consists of 22 national nursing organizations seeking to increase the number of nurses involved in federal policy.
