Nurse nominations sought for federal committees

AONL and the 21 other members of the Ad-Hoc Nomination Consortium invite qualified nurse leaders to be nominated to serve on the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, the Medicare Evidence Development and Coverage Advisory Committee, or the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force. Interested nurse leaders can self-nominate or nominate a peer. The application deadline to submit potential candidates is Jan. 30 for MedPAC, Feb. 6 for MEDCAC, and Feb. 28 for the USPSTF. The Ad-Hoc Nomination Consortium nominates qualified nursing professionals to federal councils, taskforces and committees to ensure the profession is represented at federal health policy-making settings.
