NQF to pilot recommendations for SDOH data

The National Quality Forum has convened a multi-stakeholder group of health care experts and advocates to pilot projects in health care settings that use social determinants of health data to connect patients with community resources. The pilot projects aim to gain knowledge about how to use SDOH data in real-world scenarios to advance health equity. The group will track and review the pilot projects progress, share lessons learned, and discuss data utilization issues. This is the first project undertaken by NQF to include an implementation phase. (NQF news release, 3/30/23)
