NQF, Moore Foundation partner on diagnostic excellence

A partnership between the National Quality Forum and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation will foster diagnostic excellence. Current difficulties in measuring diagnostic accuracy and timeliness hamper efforts to improve diagnostics. The two organizations will “identify actionable solutions and forge further consensus on measurement methods for diagnostic performance measures and improvement,” according to a news release. NQF measurement experts will bring together diverse health care perspectives to identify and drive consensus on solutions to current barriers. (NQF news release, 2/9/23)
