NINR to host webinar on maternal health

The National Institute of Nursing Research will host a director lecture on maternal health on July 11 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET. Mahasin Majahid, PhD, a professor at the University of California, Berkeley, will present her research on the social and structural determinants of maternal health and health disparities and discuss risk reduction interventions to address growing morbidity and mortality concerns. She will join National Institute of Nursing Research Director Shannon Zenk, PhD, RN, to discuss the role of nursing research in advancing maternal health science.
