NCC wants public health, other priorities included in infrastructure package

Fifty-two members of the Nursing Community Coalition (NCC), including AONL, sent a letter to congressional leadership last week outlining the coalition’s shared public health, education and workforce priorities and urging their inclusion in any infrastructure package. The letter specifically called on Congress to invest in Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development Programs and the National Institute of Nursing Research and to support three bills: the Future Advancement of Academic Nursing (FAAN) Act (S. 246/H.R. 851); the CONNECT for Health Act (S. 1512); and the Public Health Infrastructure Saves Lives Act (S. 674).
