NCC thanks senators for iCAN Act

AONL and 60 other members of the Nursing Community Coalition signed onto a letter this week thanking Senate Nursing Caucus Co-Chair, Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., and Sen. Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., for introducing the Improving Care and Access to Nurses Act (S. 2418). The bill, introduced in July, would ensure patients, including those with Medicare and Medicaid insurance, have access to care provided by APRNs. (NCC letter, 10/10/23)
