NCC thanks Congress for Nurses Week resolution

AONL and the Nursing Community Coalition’s other 63 members signed a letter thanking the House and Senate Nursing Caucus leadership and 27 bipartisan House and Senate members for introducing a resolution (S. Res. 676/H. Res. 1208) supporting the goals and ideals of National Nurses Week. The week was observed May 6-12. “These bipartisan resolutions underscore the indispensable care the more than four and a half million registered nurses, advanced practice registered nurses and nurse leaders, nursing students, faculty, researchers and other nurses with advanced degrees provide to patients across the country,” the letter states.
