NCC opposes bill restricting access to CRNA care

AONL and 40 other members of the Nursing Community Coalition expressed opposition to the Protecting Lifesaving Anesthesia Care for Veterans Act of 2023 (H.R. 3347/S. 2070). In a letter to bill sponsors Rep. David Scott, D-Ga., and Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., they explain how the bill would “unnecessarily, and unjustifiably restrict access” for certified registered nurse anesthetists within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, adversely affecting veterans’ health care.
