NCC advocates for NINR, Title VIII programs

The Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) submitted testimony last week in support of federal funding for the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) and Title VIII programs, which support the development of the nursing workforce. Writing to the U.S. House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the National Institutes of Health, NCC emphasized the nation’s need to support these pillars of nursing in order to meet today’s health care and public health challenges.
