Leaders tout benefits of home health programs
Health care’s future is in the home setting, according to Lena Nilsson, vice president of clinical operations at OSF HealthCare Home Care Services. Leaders at the Peoria, Ill.-based system believe health care systems offering home-based programs can better ensure the continuity of care, limit unnecessary re-hospitalizations and improve access to care.
