Leaders seek workforce solutions for 2024
To account for high turnover and staff changes, health care leaders speaking at a HealthLeaders briefing on workforce issues said they need to be able to pivot quickly and can no longer rely on a five-year strategic plan. The leaders advocated for streamlined decision-making. In addition, they said leaders should participate in strategic workforce planning, invest in professional development and cultivate a supportive work environment to address workforce challenges proactively.
