Joint Commission offers webinar on reducing cesarean birth rates

The Joint Commission will offer a webinar for accredited hospitals to learn how to reduce cesarean birth rates safely on May 15 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. ET. Leaders from Mount Sinai Health System in New York City will describe how they implemented a robust equity dashboard and answer participants’ questions. At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to apply concepts learned about the identification of health care disparities using data analysis; describe team and stakeholder engagement throughout the initiative; and prepare to implement at least one practice to strengthen equitable engagement and care continuity to reduce cesarean birth rates safely and improve outcomes.
