J&J Hackathon to hold final info session July 25

Nurse leaders can attend a final information session on July 25 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. ET about advancing nurse innovation at their organization through the NurseHack4Health Pitch-A-Thon. Hosted by Johnson & Johnson, the Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs & Leaders, and Microsoft, the pitch-a-thon will convene nurses and others to brainstorm and pitch ideas for creating a thriving nursing workforce and a healthier work environment. Applications are due Aug. 2. Selected entrants will pitch their ideas in a virtual session on Oct. 15 to receive up to $150,000 in funding. Teams will receive coaching support to help them define, build and pitch their ideas. The free event is open to nonprofit health systems or those with a fiscal partner. Nurse-led teams should be interdisciplinary. Info session participants should register in advance.
