IFDHE to host 2024 Health Equity Innovation Summit
The American Hospital Association’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity will hold its 2024 Health Equity Innovation Summit on maternal and child health for C-suite executives on May 22 at Christian Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. CT. The meeting will consist of representatives from member hospitals speaking on strategies to address health inequities in maternal and child health. Speakers include Okunsola Amadou, CPM, founder and CEO of Jamaa Birth Village in Ferguson, Mo., and Michele McKee, MBA, vice president of finance and strategic planning at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Participants must register by May 15. The IFDHE plans to hold three additional summits in 2024 focused on other topics.
