IFDHE issues final health equity toolkit
This week, the American Hospitals Association’s (AHA) Institute for Diversity and Health Equity (IFDHE) released its fourth toolkit, Community Partnerships: Strategies to Advance Health Equity. This latest toolkit offers guidance to hospitals and health systems on how to build effective hospital-community partnerships based on where organizations are on their health equity journey. The complete IFDHE Health Equity Resource Series is available on the AHA website. Joy Lewis, the AHA’s senior vice president of health equity strategies and executive director of IPDHE, discussed the toolkit in a related blog post. (AHA News article, 8/3/21)
