FDA to hold meeting on Home as a Health Care Hub initiative
The Food and Drug Administration will hold a virtual meeting on its Home as a Health Care Hub Initiative on July 25 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. ET. Participants will discuss the home environment as an integral part of the health care system, and the FDA will solicit ideas on aspects to consider in developing the Home as a Health Care Hub prototype. Participants also will discuss barriers and opportunities for the delivery of health care and the generation of clinical evidence in the home environment. The agency has hired architecture firm HKS, Inc., to reimagine the home as an integral part of the health system; virtual reality home prototypes will be available by year-end. Participants should register for the meeting by 11:00 ET on July 25.
