Documentary highlights Black maternal health disparities

A new documentary, Birthing Justice, focuses on how maternal health disparities disproportionately affect Black women and how Black women are fighting to end such disparities. Separately, the Health Resources and Services Administration released Maternity Care Target Area weighted scores for Primary Care Health Professional Shortage Areas experiencing a shortage of maternity health care professionals.
