Collaborative to stop pediatric suicide seeks members

The Emergency Medical Services for Children Information and Improvement Center invites hospital and freestanding emergency department teams to participate in a 10-month pediatric suicide prevention collaborative beginning in February. During eight one-hour sessions with national experts in pediatric mental health, the Emergency Department STOP (Screening and Treatment Options for Pediatric) Suicide Quality Improvement Collaborative will share strategies to improve outcomes and care for children and adolescents who present in the ED with acute suicide risk. Participants should register by Jan. 13.
