COVID-19 response informs steps to improve nurse preparedness
A report from the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security focused on improving nurse preparedness calls upon readers to identify and understand gaps at the government, system, organizational and individual levels, which have contributed to a lack of pandemic readiness. The report describes the factors that influence nursing workforce development and training for pandemic response, in addition to the safety and support needed during pandemics.
