CMS launches Care Compare

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) launched Care Compare last week, a streamlined redesign of eight existing CMS health care comparison tools. The site is intended to give patients and caregivers an easier way to access information about physicians, hospitals and health care services. In conjunction with the launch, the agency has made improvements to other data tools including the Procedure Price Look Up tool and the Provider Data Catalog. (CMS news release, 9/3/20)
