CDC releases health care personnel COVID-19 hospitalization report

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released an analysis of 13 states showing 6% of adults hospitalized with COVID-19 between March 1 and May 31 were health care personnel. Among those hospitalized, 36% worked in occupations related to nursing and 73% listed obesity as an underlying issue. (AHA News article, 10/26/20)
