American Nurses Foundation launches Reimagining Nursing Initiative

This week, the American Nurses Foundation launched the Reimagining Nursing Initiative to catalyze transformative change in the nursing field in three priority areas: practice-ready nurse graduates, technology-enabled nursing practice and direct-reimbursement nursing models. The Foundation seeks proposals for bold, innovative and risky ideas that will ensure nurses have access to the knowledge, tools and environments they need to deliver exemplary care. The Foundation will grant up to $15 million to as many as 11 innovative pilot programs. Each pilot may request a total of $500,000–$1,500,000 over three years. Information sessions will be held in August and September. Registration is open for webinars taking place on Aug. 23 at 2 p.m. ET, Aug. 31 at 4 p.m. ET and Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. ET.
