AONL toolkit will help prepare nurse leaders for value-based care

To guide nurse leaders striving for value, a group of AONL members prepared a toolkit, which provides a foundation for nurse leaders beginning their journey in creating new delivery models. In the July/August issue of the Journal of Nursing Administration, they share key financial terminology, types of risk and contracts, and a list of desired outcomes for value-based care models. The toolkit will become available later this year on the association website. As well as serving as a primer on value-based care, it is a valuable resource for those further along in their journey.
