AONL defines nurse leader role in technology use

An article in the January issue of Voice of Nursing Leadership describes how nurse leaders can usher in digital transformation, including artificial intelligence. It discusses AONL’s six guiding principles for the nurse leader role in digital transformation and its Leadership, Innovation, Technology and Transformation Committee, which will generate tools and resources to strengthen nurse leaders' work in digital transformation to improve patient care and professional practice. The committee will equip nurses with the skills to support and lead digital transformation. In addition, the authors offer advice on how nurse leaders can prepare for digital transformation.
