AONL Supports Vaccination Bill Introduced in the House

Legislation introduced this week in the House of Representatives addressed the decline in life-saving vaccinations resulting from Americans’ efforts to avoid exposure to COVID-19. The AONL endorsed-legislation invests $560 million in state and local public health departments to promote vaccinations and vaccine counseling guidance during the health crisis. “I’m introducing the Community Immunity During COVID-19 Act to ensure communities have the resources they need to avoid outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases, mitigate the severity of the seasonal flu as we continue to battle this pandemic, and prepare for a future COVID-19 vaccine,” said Rep.
